Every year we are only able to meet a fraction of the demand for our program.

We have operated at our current 24-unit campus on the Eastside of Albuquerque since 2005. Every year we are only able to meet a fraction of the demand for our program.

Saranam's ADC Family Campus will be a 3.5-acre campus on Albuquerque’s Westside. This new site will provide 23 additional homes for families, more than doubling our capacity. The campus will include new classrooms and office space along with playgrounds, gathering spaces, a renovated family center, community gardens, and parking. The safety, access to essential services, and convenience of transportation to higher education facilities make it an ideal place for families to set down roots.

Because of the generosity and in-kind support from Dekker/Perich/Sabatini LTD, Tierra West LLC, and ECOterra Design-Build we are able to break ground in February 2022.

The inaugural cohort of nine families moved into the first completed homes in November 2024. Learn more about the vision for sustainability and positive community impact in our new campus.

What We Have Accomplished

First ten homes have been completed!

All of the parts and paperwork were secured and the first homes completed in November 2024. The inaugural cohort of nine families moved in on November 12.
Some Saranam staff have temporary offices on the campus to provide continuous support for families.

All Portables Purchased
- All of the portables needed for our homes and program spaces have been purchased from Albuquerque Public Schools.

Next Steps

Progress continues every day! Here are some of the next steps in this monumental build.

Offices and Classrooms
- These buildings will provide space for Saranam staff and families to work and learn.
Family Center Renovation
- Renovations to our new Family Center will include the addition of two large classrooms upstairs, a demonstration kitchen, a shower, and laundry facilities.
New Construction
- Construction of our new Donation Center will give us the additional space for donations and storage.
Finishing Touches
- Once these larger projects are complete we will begin landscaping, paving, decorating and moving.
